Terms of Service

Last Updated: July 2026

Welcome to PosterWatchdog. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

1. Information, Not Legal Advice

PosterWatchdog is an automated tracking tool, not a law firm. The service monitors public government web pages for updates to labor law posters. Our alerts, checklists, and provided documents are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice.

Labor laws are complex and frequently change. You are solely responsible for consulting with your internal human resources counsel or a qualified attorney to ensure your organization complies with all applicable federal, state, county, and municipal labor laws.

2. "As-Is" Warranty & Third-Party Reliance

Our service relies heavily on the stability and accuracy of third-party government servers and websites. We do not control these government entities. Therefore, PosterWatchdog is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or 100% accurate. We are not responsible if a government agency changes its URL structure, obscures updates, or posts inaccurate documents that our automated systems cannot detect.

3. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall PosterWatchdog, its founders, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to government fines, penalties, lawsuits, or loss of profits arising out of your use or inability to use the service.

Maximum Liability Cap: In any event, PosterWatchdog's total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to PosterWatchdog for the service during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the liability.

4. Subscriptions, Tiers, and Payments

  • Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis via Stripe.
  • Upgrades/Downgrades: If you exceed the tracked location limits of your current tier, your account may be paused until you upgrade your subscription.
  • Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial months.

5. Account Abuse and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms. This includes, but is not limited to, sharing account credentials, attempting to reverse-engineer our scraping architecture, or abusing the platform's location limits.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any material changes via email or a prominent notice on the dashboard. Continued use of the platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
